I’ve been on a baking kick that is based around various hot drinks, most likely due to the fact that I’ve been working lots these past few weeks. Making different drinks for people has inspired me with a variety of flavour combinations. 

These are Mocha Latte Cupcakes. They are chocolate cupcakes with a chocolate-coffee ganache filling and chocolate-coffee buttercream.

They may just take the cake (haha get it!?) for my favourite cupcake to date. Yum!

Nothing screams summer more than fresh fruit. My sister and I took a trip to our local farmer’s market where we picked up some local strawberries, blueberries, and peaches. As a result, I baked this delicious Peach-Streusel Bread complete with fresh peaches, walnuts, and cinnamon. The recipe can be found by clicking here.

I scream, you scream, we all scream for icecream….sugar cookies?

I made these icecream cone cookies for an order earlier in the summer. They were so fun to create and were the perfect way to celebrate summer. Stay posted for more baked goods being posted all summer long. I hope you are all having a fantastic summer!

I asked my dad what type of cake he wanted for his birthday this year. After I asked, I felt stupid because I already knew the answer. As per usual, I made him some Angel Food Cake with Whipped Cream and Berries. It is one of his favourite desserts. The best part about this cake is that it is light on the waistline but still heavy in the tastiness. Yum!

This weekend I got to test out some of my new cookie cutters. I think this particular one may be my new favourite. Seriously though…the only thing better than icecream cones are sugar cookies in the shape of icecream cones!
